FJ203 is a non-combustible fire resistant woven rope and used for sealing horizontal and vertical linear joints with or without movement capability between fire resistant separating rigid walls and floors.

Usage/purpose
FJ203 is designed to reinstate the fire compartment requirement, where expansion joints and static joints have been formed within masonry / concrete elements, in walls and floors.
FJ203 is tested to EN 1366-4 :
expansion joints (+20%): 10 mm to 130 mm joint width (depending on product selected)
static joints : 10 mm to 150 mm joint width (depending on product selected)
The expansion joints require FO142/FO143 Silicate Adhesives to be applied prior to installing FJ203.
FS703 Fire Resistant Silicone Sealant may be used to provide a cold smoke seal, air & watertightness.
Typical areas of use include hospitals, hotels, car parks, schools, airports, nuclear power plants, etc.

Safety data sheet must be read and understood before use.
- Up to 4 hours fire resistance. Tested to EN 1366-4.
- 20% movement capability (tested during fire test).
- Up to 150 mm joint width.
- Suitable for irregular joints.
- Easy to apply, easy to cut.
- EDF nuclear approval.
- Can be combined with sealants such as Nullifire FS702 or FS703 Fire Rated Acryl or Silicone Mastic.
