The Project
With an anticipated completion date of August 2020, this state-of-the-art student accommodation situated in the heart of the thriving city Coventry, will comprise of 266 cluster bedrooms. The cluster flats of 4 & & bedrooms share a spacious lounge, kitchen, and dining area. As well as a common area featuring a games zone, study hub and an on-site gym.
To comply with passive fire protection requirements, Nullifire worked with trusted contactor Protek Interiors to install both SC602 Intumescent Base Coat (On-Site) and SC802 Water Based Intumescent Base Coat (On-Site) to this 2500m2 project. The combination of these projects worked well given the challenging circumstances and allowed for Protek Interiors to fully adhere to the fire strategy of the building.
Weather and exposed paint work were the two biggest challenges faces when selecting the correct products for this project, hence the usage of one of our latest additions to the range, SC602 Intumescent Base Coat (On-Site).
